Owgan, Westropp, Wrixon, Busteed, Philpott, Swete, Bury, and John Wrixon. 24 Aug., 1765. That Revd. Wm. Nash, eldest son of Llewellin Nash, Esq., dec., and Christr. Menton, butcher, having served James Bennett, do., be admitted free. )!.... That two guineas be paid ~Iortho Connor, for his trouble in summoning for several years several committees. That Mr. Mayor, Sher. Wrixon and Butler, and Ald. Philpot, with those of C. D. H., be a committee to repair the North Bridge; It., £50 to each of the Sheriffs, to be by each of them laid out in the purchase of a piece of plate to be engraved with the Arms of this City, and to be inscribed : " The Gift of the Mayor, Sheriffs, and Commonalty of the City of Corke, to each of said Sheriffs, for his good services to this City during his Sheriff- ship." That the inside part of the North Meat Shambles be applied for one year for a market for the sale of linnen yarn. Present-Mr. Mayor, Sher. Wrixon and Butler; Alden. Jackson, Owgan, Westropp, Wrixon, Busteed, Philpott, Franklin, John Wrixon, and Mr. Denroche, C. S. 6 Sep., 1765.
