790 THE INHABITANTS HAVE NEGLECTED TO BUILD THEIR PARAPET WALLS.

No business for want of a sufficient number.-Wm. Snowe, Dep. Clk. of Council. Present-Mr. Mayor, Sher. Wrixon; Alden. Jackson, Owgan, Westropp, Crone, Wrixon, and Philpott. 19 June, 1765. Whereas several persons have unlawfully trespassed on the Corpo- ration ground at the Lough, by digging up the soil and carrying away same ; ordered, that suits be commenced against such persons. That £36 be paid Mr. Timothy Hughes for ironwork from 25 Aug., 1762, to 19 Dec., 1764; It., £8 4s. 8d. to Geo. Busteed, for printing-work; It., £11 3s. 11 !d. to Mr. Mayor, for sending to their respective homes the wives of the soldiers lately embarked from this City; It., £2 6s. 8d. to Mr. Sher. Wrixon, for work done at the Lough. That George Bruce, Esq., Counc. at Law; Hugh, eldest son of Revd. Thos. Millerd, dec. ; and John, eldest son of John Longfield, Esq., dec., be admitted free. Whereas several inhabitants of this City hav~ neglected to build their parapet walls, notwithstanding the several public notices given them to do so in the Newspapers; ordered, that the Clerk of the Council draw notices to be served on said inhabitants, and the penalties inflicted by said act to be levied in case said parapet walls be not built. That a further sum of £40 be paid to the committee for the building at Blackrock. Present-~Ir. ~fayor, Sher. Butler; Alden.
