Dublin, and extract such as may be useful for this ·city, and amending the law past last Session for collecting public moneys. Whereas the Act passed 33 year of his late MajY. for enlightning the several cities in this kingdom is found insufficient for this City, and an ap- plication is intended to be made for an Act to enlighten this City, and other purposes, in which application will be made for a clause to reimburse this Corporation for any money they may advance for enlightening this City for the ensueing winter; ordered, that Mr. Mayor, Sher. Rowland, Ald. Wes- tropp and Franklin, with such of the C. D. H., be a committee for erecting lamps until 1 April, the expenses to be paid out of the revenues of the Corporation. Present-Mr. Mayor, Sher. Rowland and Coles; Alden. Jackson, Parker, Westropp, Crone, Busteed, Philpott, Franklin, and Mr. Scott, C. S. 10 Dec., 1763. No business for want of sufficient numbers.-Wm. Snowe, Dep. Clk. of Council. Present-Mr. Mayor, Sher. Rowland and Coles; Ald 80 • Owgan, Wes- tropp, Crone, W rixon, Busteed, Swete, Franklin, and Mr. C. S. 13 Dec., 1763. This day the heads of a Bill for better regulating the City and Co. of the City of Cork, drawn by Counc. Verling and Bennett, were read, and ordered to be sent to Mr. Nich. Wrixon, Corp 0 • Agent in Dublin, to attend the representatives, and get same passed into a law. That £800 be borrowed from Ald. Hodder, at 6 pounds for one hundred by the year, that the Mayor, &c., execute a bond under the City Seal for same ; ordered, that said sum be employed for erecting lamps in this City from time to time.
