DISTRIBUTION OF PIPE WATER SHARES•

.taken same into consideration, have agreed that the same shall be divided into 100 shares, and that the Common Council, in trust for the Mayor, &c., take one quarter part said shares, to be paid out of the revenues of the Corporation, all profits from same to belong to said revenues, and all losses to be defrayed out of the same. Agreed that the ground cellars, coach houses, and stables taken on Haman's Marsh, be let for 600 years, and that they be advertised to be set, proposals to be sent to the Mayor. That Richd. FzGerald, Esq., and the Rt. Hon. Harvey Lo. Mountmorris, be presented with their freedoms in Silver boxes. That Mr. Will. Snowe be appointed agent in the room of Robert Hoare, Esq. That. 10 guineas be paid Stephen Justin, barber, for the purchase of the .waH reserved by him out of the grant made by him to the Corporation of his houses adjoining Tuckey Street. Present-·Mr. Mayor, Sher. Fitton and Morrison ; Alden. Jackson, Owgan, Westropp, Busteed, Philpott, Bury, Wetherall, Wrixon, Harding, Crone, Winthrop, and Swete. John vV rixon, Esq., Mayor. 1 Nov., 1762. This day the Mayor and Sheriffs were sworn Common Council men. Ordered; that £140 14s. 8!d. be paid Mr. Nich. Wrixon, attorney, his bill of costs; It., £72 5s. to Mr. Wm. Bull, attY., law business; It., £1 16s. 3id. to Richd. Evans, Exchange Porter, for brooms, &c. That Mr. Sher. Travers and Lane, Ald. Westropp, Wrixon, Harding, Phil- pott, and Bury be a committee, with such as the C. D. H. shall appoint to state the Chamberlain's accounts. That Sher. Lane, Ald. Wrixon and Harding be a committee to settle with ~fr. Hugh Norcott for the custom of turf, furz, and timber in faggots for fuel, which by an Act of Parl. passed last session, are made free of toll, and report what shall be allowed said Norcott for same out of his Gateage rent.
