ENTERTAINMENT TO CELEBRATE THE TAKING OF BELLISLE.

, Present--Yr. Mayor, Sher. Owgan; Alden. Millerd, Westropp, Wrixon, Smith, Reily, Harding, Philpott, Swete, Bury, Travers, and Mr. Clarke, C. S. 28 Sep., 176L 1 Ordered, that £18 14s. 5d. be paid Henry Rugge, costs of an entertainment ·. at Blackrock Castle; It., £18 lOs. 8}d. to said Rugge for an entertainment tl 31 July last, to celebrate the joyful news of the taking of Bellisle ; It., \ £31 Ss. 3d. to said Rugge for an entertainment 15 Sep., to celebrate Her Maj. ( Queen Charlotte's arrival in England ; It., £49 5s. to said Rugge for an enter- ; tainment 22 Sep., to celebrate the Coronation of their Majesties; It., £10 16s. \ to Mess. St. Leger and Franklin for ale supplied the army on two rejoicing \ days ; It., £4 17 s. 6d. to the ringers of S. Mary Shandon for ringing the \bells on several rejoicing days. "I agree to all the above orders except that of admitting Mr. T. Robert~ free at large, which I protest against, because rejected in a late C. D. H."- Will. Clarke, Jun., C. Ordered, that Mr. Thos. Roberts, brother-in-law to the Mayor; Mr. Hugh Jameson, mercht.; Edward Becher, Esq.; Richd. Harris, mercht., having served Ald. Wrixon and Mr. Burgess Wrixon; Edward Parks, clothier, having served Mr. Burgess Parks ; M urtogh Mahony, clothier, having serveJ Mr. Parks ; David Mellefont, Esq. j and WiJlm. Greatrakes, Esq., be admitted freemen at large of this City. That £11 lOs. 3d. be paid Mr. Hugh Taylor, costs of a suit in defence of the Corporation right of standings out of the North Gate. Present-Mr. Mayor, Mr. Mayor Elect, Sher. Owgan; Alden. Jackson, Newman, Westropp,Millerd, Wrixon, Reily, Harding, Philpott; Mr. Travers, and Clarke, C. S. 14 Oct., 1751.
