NO STANDINGS TO BE ON THE BRIDGES OR GATEWAYS.

highest bidder on 14th Sep. next; It., the Waterbailiff's employment, with the Corporation dues, on the 14th, giving security, that he collect the Mayor's dues and keep the coal and salt barrels in good repair, and that he or his deputy attend the Mayor, &c., on public occasions, with the Silver Oar; It., that the fowls, eggs and butter that are usually sold within the gates be for the ensueing year exposed to sale in the present Foul Market, and the petty customs arising therefrom be set to public cant on 19 Sep.; It., that no standings be suffered on any of the bridges of this City, or under the gateways of the North and South Bridges, or in the main street from North Gate to South Gate, or in any of the street~ between the gates, and that such standings be removed on 29 Sep. next; It., that the petty customs of the North Shambles and the standings outside North Gate be set to cant on 21 Sep. ; It., the petty customs of the South Shambles and the standings outside South Gate be set to cant on 22 Sep.; lt., the petty customs of the Root and Potatoe Markets on the Potatoe Quay be set to public cant on 22 Sep. _ / Ordered, that the Right Hon. Francis \ Andrews, Esq., Provost of Trinity College, Dublin, now in this City, be pre- l. sented with his freedom in a Silver Box. ~ That the Mayor and Sheriffs, Mayor elect and Sheriffs elect, Alden. Atkins, Sir John Freke, Bart., Ald. Wrixon, W estropp, Reily, Harding, Robt. Travers, Esq., and Mr. C. S., be a committee to represent. to this board what laws are wanting for the good of the Corporation, and they be empowered to take the advice of any gentleman they think proper, and Mr. Hoare, Clk., and Mr. Snowe, Dep. Clk., of Council, are desired to attend. That Mr. Hoare do employ Councrs. Verling and Wood to draw drafts of the Mayor's affidavits in answer to the affidavits made against the Mayor for attachments, and that said drafts be laid befor~ the Recorder. That £38 6s. 5d. be paid Robt. Hoare, Esq., lawyers' fees· paid by him for the Corporation; It., £30 to Mr. James Chatterton, one of the Burgesses.
