grievances the Corporation hath received by the determination of the Court of King's Bench, and the infringements of the ancient priviledges and customs of this City, and praying their Excellencies' favour to grant a writ of nolle proseq'1.1i in these complaints. That £61 9s. 4d. be paid Robt. Hoare, Esq., for his bill of costs from Aug., 1758, to 12 Feb. last. Present--Mr. Mayor, Sher. Parks; Alden. Whereas a suit hath been brought in the Chancery_side of His Maj. Court of Exchequer, in the name of Right Revd. Edwd., Lord Bp. ofElphin, Rt. Hon. Henry, Earl of Shannon, and George Conner, Esq., against the Mayor, &c., of the City of Cork and George Townsend, touching the right of fishing for oysters in the river of Corke, ordered, that defence be taken by Mr. Hoare at the expense of the Corporation.
