EXPENSE OF THE GUARD TO PREVE~T RIOTS AT FAIR UILL. • James Looby, mercht., having served Francis Carleton, be admitted frc01ncn at large. That .£1 4s. be paid Mr. Mayor, expense of a guard of soldiers appointed by him to prevent riots o.t Fair Hill last fair uays; o.lso .£14 Ss. to Mr. John Smith, for beer supplied to the Army on rejoicing days in the Mayoralty of Ald. Hodder. . That John Harding, gent., nephew to the Mayor, and Peter Cambridge, mercht., be admitted free at large. That such suit as Council shall advise be commenced against the reps. of Abraham Dickson, dec., for the recovery of a legacy of .£SOO and interest left by said Dickson to the Corporation for the Blue Coat Hospital. That the expenses of the Mayor's defence to a complaint made against him in the Court of King's Bench by Ald. Fuller and Danl. Sullivan, Jun., Baker. with regard to the swearing a Dep. Weigh Master, be paid out of the revenues of the Corporation. Present-- Mr. Mayor, Sher. Richd. and Bussell Hare, Merchts., have liberty to enlarge the Quay before their premises on Cold Harbour to the same brea.Uth of the quay before the late dwelling-house and premises of Ald. Baldwin, tho said quay before the said premises of Richd. and Bussell Hare to range in a straight line with the west end of said quay before the premises of said Baldwin, the order of Council of 10 May for enlarging said quay being irregularly conceived. That John Heacock, cooper, having served Jonathan Winthrop, dec. ; Richard Fuller, mercht., having served his Father, Thos. Fuller, mercht., be admitted freemen at large ; and that the Right Hon.
