That £21 8s. 9d. be paid Mr. Mayor, the expense for providing Guard I , Rooms for the Soldiers on the late expedition; also £70 to the Mayor, &c., for sending to their respective homes the wives and children of the Soldiers ( gone on the late expedition. That Richard Hare and Bussell Hare, Merchts., have such liberty as the Corporation can grant to carry on in a straight line from the East end of the Quay before Ald. Baldwin's late holdings on Cold Harbour of the same breadth therewith, the said quay to the East end of the holding of the said Richard and Bussell Hare, to be done at the expense of said Richard and Russell Hare. Whereas Mr. Mayor, Sheriff Roe, Alden. Croker, Owgan, Lavit, and Mr. C. S. report to the Council a plan for building a market on the ground taken from Ald. Roche, which plan they agree to, and in case it be approved of by the C. D. H., the Mayor, Sheriffs, and C. S., Ald. Owgan, and Lavit are appointed a Committee for carrying out said plan. The same Committee report to the Council a plan for building a Fish :.Market on the ground taken from Ald. Reily, which they agree to, and in case it be approved by the C. D. H., the same Committee are appointed for earrying out the plans. Present-Mr. Mayor, Sher. Roe ; Alden. Croker, Owgan, Winthrop, Lavit, Taylor, Crone, Smith, Busteed, Reily, and Hill, C. S. 13 June, 1757. That 1\:fr. Mayor, Alden. Owgan, Westropp, Wrixon, and Robt. Travers, Esq., with such persons as shall be nominated by the C. D. H., be a Com- mittee to audit the puLlic accounts from 29 Sep., 1755, to 25 March last.
