A PLAN OF THE FISH MARKET TO DE PREPARED.

That £5 16s. 3d. be paid Tho. Dyer, glazier, for work done. That Sir John Conway Colthurst, Bart., eldest son of John Colthurst, Esq., dec., be admitted free at large. That Rowland, only son of William Delahoide, dec., be admitted free at large. Present-Mr. Mayor, Sher. Roe; Alden, Atkins, Croker, Farren, W estropp, ·: Lavit, Wrixon, Busteed, Smith, and Reily• . \. .. ··-·--- 24 Dec., 17 56. That the Right Hon. Wm. Lord Blakeney, Commander of His Maj. X' Iniskilling Foot, be presented with his freedom in a Gold box, for his good i and faithful services in defence of his King and Country. · That £18 lOs. be paid Mr. Isaac Bussy for candles. Present-Mr. Mayor, Sher. Roe; Alden. Croker, Austin, Bradshaw, Lavit, Winthrop, Crone, Smith, Hodder, and Reily. 2 Feb., 1757. Ordered, that Mr. Hugh Taylor be appointed Overseer of the Public works of this City, in the room of Jehosaphat Huleatt, dec., and that he be paid a salary of £20 a year for his trouble. That £13 lOs. ld. be paid Mr. Elias Mainaduc for clothes supplied the Blue Coats and Exchange Porter. That Mr. Mayor, She~. Roe, Ald. Croker, Owgan, Lavit, and the C. S. be a committee to prepare a plan of the Fish Market to be built on the ground taken from Ald. Reily, and to inspect the ground taken from Ald. Roche, and report how the same shall be laid out for the best advantage. Present-Mr. Mayor, Sher. Roe; Alden. Croker, Owgan, Taylor, Win- throp, Lavit, Millerd, W estropp, Crone, Busteed, Smith, Hodder, Reily, and Mr. Hill, C. S. 13 April, 1757. Sheriff Newenham sworn Council Man. That £1118s. 6d. be paid to Hugh Taylor, for coals delivered to the several Guards ; also 17 8. 8d. to Francis Evans, Exchange Porter, for sand and brooms.
