DARTNETT TO DE INDEMNIFIED FROl[ TilE KING's RENT.

That £;)9 be paid Robt. Hoare, Esq., his bill of costs from Easter term, 1754, to 13 Nov. inst. That John Cuthbert, mercht., having served Joseph Popham, mercht., be admitted free at large. That a clause be inserted in the sutTender of Mr. Hartnett's Patent of his Fair, for the Corporation to indemnify said Hartnett and his_heirs from the King's rent of 58. a year reserved in said Patent. That James Dumas, mercht., who served Joseph Lewin Hillgrove to the time of his death, and the remainder to said Hillgrove's brother, be admitted free at large of this City. That Ald. Wrixon and Mr. Hoare do treat with Ald. Roche, of Limerick, for a. piece of ground on the South side of the City Court House, and agree with him for a lea.c;e of same to be made to the Corporation, provided same does not exceed £20 a year. That the Chamberlain get from the several Collectors of the gatcage, other City revenues, and the tenants of the City estate, the several receipts passed to them by Mr. Stephen Hopkins, and that he pass his receipt for such receipts. Present--Mr. Mayor, Sher. Roe ; Ald 8 ". Atkins, Austin, Croker, Jackson, Owgan, Westropp, Winthropp, Taylor, Millerd, Wrixon, Dustcod, Smith, Hodder, Reily; .Mr. Hill, C. S., also the Recorder as adviser. 10 Dec., 175G. That a clause be inserted in the deed of HutTender of Mr. ,James llartnett's Patent for the Fairs, to indemnify said llartnett and his ·heir9 from the King's rent of 68. 8£l., the last order being rejected by the C. D. H. as by mistake 58. was mentioned therein. Whereas Ald. Wrixon and Mr. Hoare report that they treated with Ald. Roche, of Limerick, for the piece of ground at the South side of the City Court-house, and that Ald. Roche can set a lease thereof for either three lives or 31 years, and that he will set same to the Corporation for £20 yearly rent ; ordered, that the Mayor, &c., do take the premises for 31 years at said rent. That £12 128. 4d. be paid to Mr. Walter Palliser for News Papers and Votes supplied from 7 Sep., 1755, to 7 Sep., 1756. 88
