That Mr. Isaac Bussy be paid £9 19s. 6d. for candles from 4 Dec., 1751, to 11 June, 1752. That John Rogers, painter, be paid £40 in full for painting and guilding the Exchange inside and outside, in the year 1752. That George Harrison, printer, be paid £26 2s. 11d. for printing-work done in the Mayoralties of Ald. Holmes, W rixon, Busteed, and the present Mayor, from 4 Oct., 1749, to 18 April, 1753. That £6 19s. 1 Od. be paid John Ireland, blacksniith, for iron work done from 6 Oct., 1752, to 15 Dec., 1752. That £10 be paid Mr. Henry Browne for his extraordinary trouble in executing his office for some time past in t:his City. This to be no prece- dent for the future.
