That £200 be paid Messrs. Francis Carleton, Riggs Falkiner, and Luko Grant to defray the remainder of the Expenses necessary to putting up the Dells in Shandon Steeple. Presen~Mr. ~fayor, Sher. Wrixon; Alden. Atkins, Austin, Croker, Farren, Westropp, Lavit, Taylor, Crone, Holmes, Wrixon, Bustced, also the Recorder as an adviser of the Council. 4 Nov., 1752. Whereas the lfayor, &c., have been served with a subprena from tlte Court of Chancery, at the suit of Richd. Davis and Rebecca, his wife, and we apprehend said suit is brought for some rights of the Corporation of this City, ordered, that Robt. Hoare, Esq., take proper defence in said Court. Presen~Mr. Mayor, Sheriffs Wrixon and Denroch; Ald•a. Atkins, Croker, Farren, W estropp, Lavit, Taylor, Millerd, Crone, Holmes, and Wrixon. 16 Dec., 1752. This. day Mr. Sher. Denroch was swome to keep the secrets of the Council and a Council man during office. Presen~Mr. Mayor, both Sheriffs ; Alden. The Chamberlain having applied for further time to make up his accounts, ordered, that he peremptorily make them up from 29 Sep., 1744, to 1 Jan., 1750, or before 7 May next. That Mr. Mayor, Alden. Owgan, Westropp, Wrixon, and Robt. Travers, Esq., be a committee to audite the accounts of the Chamberlain, Collectors
