That ~fr. Hoare buy the several Acts of Parliament made in this King- dom, from the 7 year of his present 1faj. to last Session of Parliament. Present-- Mr. l'viayor, l\fayor Elect, Sher. Bury and Holmes; Alden. Mil- lerd, Croker, Newman, Fuller, Parker, Winthrop ; Mr. Travers, Dring, Browne, and Wetherall, C. S. 19 Oct., 1747. Hugh Millerd, the Younger, Esq., Mayor. This day the Mayor and Sheriffs, as such, took the oath of a Council man. Present-Mr. Mayor, Sher. Will.Busteed and Geo. Hodder; Alden.Atkins, Millerd, Austin, Croker, Fuller, Owgan, Westropp) Winthrop ; Mr. Dring and W etherall, C. S. Nov. 4, 1747. A Council summoned to attend at 4 in the evening ; no business for want of a sufficient number.-Russell Wood, Clk. Cl. Present-Mr. Mayor, Sher. Busteed ; Alden. Millerd, Austin, Croker, Owgan, Winthrop ; Mr. Dring and Wetherall, C. S. 16 Nov., 1747. Whereas of late persons keep standings in the streets of this City, for selling their goods and wares on other days besides markett days, which they have no t·ight to do; ordered, that every person who shall keep such standings outside the porticos of the houses in the streets, shall for every day which they shall _keep such standings pay to the Corporation the cus- toms they usually pay on market days, only during the pleasure of the Cor- poration. That a flight of stone stairs with iron rails be carried up at the north end of the Con1 Market from the arch over the river to the door leading into the first floor, and that Ald. Croker and Owgan, with the Mayor and C. S., direct said work. That the days the Army are to have drink are, the 11 and 30 Oct., 16 April, and 11 June, and on those days they are to .have three Barrels of Ale, provided they draw up and fire before the Exchange. That £15 1s. 7d. be paid l\Ir. Elias Mainanduc, liveries furnished for the Blue Coats and Exchange Porter.
