Fuller; Mr. Carre, Travers, Browne, Mr. Allenet, Com. Sp., and Mr. Dring. 21 July, 1743. This board having information that several Journeymen Weavers have on the present day, early in the morning, assembled in a tumultuous man- ner in divers parts of this City, with intent to disturb His Maj. peace, and by threats have terrified several of His Maj. subjects, ordered, that a pro- clamation be issued, offering £10 to such person who within three months shall prosecute to conviction one or more of said offenders. And further, that it be inserted that such as shall be guilty of such like offences for the future shall be prosecuted with the utmost severity of law. Present-Mr. Mayor, both Sheriffs; Alden.
