The north Suburbs and liberties from the North Bridge to be uivideu into two wards, viz., 1st, from the North Bridge, up }..fallow lane, down to Waters Mills, and so to upper Glanmire on the right hand, including all the liberties of that side, to be one ward and called by the name of the East \Vard of the Parish of S. Mary Shandon, Ald. Jos. Austin Ald. of said \Vard. 2d \Vard, fr01n North Bridge to upper Glanmire, as aforesaid, on the left hand, including Blarney lane and the North Abbey, and all the liberties of that side, to be called by the nan1e of the West \Vard, Ald. J as. Huleatt Ald. of said Ward. 3d Ward, the North East quarter of the City from the Bridge on the left hand down Castle Street to Dunscombe's Bridge, or the house of Tho. Daunt's, and that Canal down under the Draw Bridge to the great river, including Kerrl's Quay and the Custom House Marsh, Ald. Geo. Bennett Ald. of said Ward. 4th Ward, the South East quarter of the City, including all Dunscombe's Marsh and Tuckey's Quay, Ald. Edwd. Broclesby Ald. of said Ward. 5th Ward, the North West and South West quarter of the City, and all backwards between the North and South rivers up to Ald. Hawkins' weirs, Ald. Amb. Cramer Ald. of said Ward. 6th Ward, all without the South Bridge and river as far as the liberties of the City. -Ald. George Fuller Ald. of said Ward. And for want of an Ald. to officiate in his ward by sickness or absence, or any other cause whatever, then the Com pit. of such ward to apply to the Ald. of next ward, which Ald. is to swear the Complt. if he has applied to the.Ald. of his own Ward. That no Ald. interfere with the Judgment given by another Ald. provided both plaintiff and Deft. has been heard. That no Ald. shall take any fees for oaths sworn before him, nor for committals or discharges. We do approve of the foregoing division of the Wards, and appoint it a bye-law. 21 March, 1736.
