416 BADGES TO BE AFFIXED TO SUCH POOR OF THIS CITY AS ARE REGISTERED.

That 7li. 3s. be paid Mr. Ilarper for a year's News from London, and the future Chamberlain pay for the News every year as same shall fall due. That 5li. be paid Sheriff Foulks for 200 badges to be fixed to such poor of this City as are registered or admitted by the Mayor and Church Wardens. That 2li. lOs. be paid the Sheriffs for poor Gallavan, now in the North Gaol, having made some discoveries of a gang of robbers. That 20.li. be paid Mr. Rob. Hoare, attorney,,part of his bill. That 5li. a year be paid Mr. Fran~ Mansel for keeping the clocks while employed. That 20li. be paid J os. LaYit, Esq.., and Wm.. Chartres, Esq., expended by them at law about the last election. That the Chamberlain give up his. accounts. on Monday 26 inst., to be examined by Alden. Crone, Chartres, Francklyn, both Sheriffs, and Mr. Edwd. Brocklesby. That 29li. 18s. be paid Ald. Jn.. Morley, paid by him in passing an act of Parliament for lighting of lamps in the City of Corke. Present-Mr. Mayor, both Sheriffs; Alden. Crone, Delahoid, Allin, Perdrian, A b. French, Morley, Terry; Mr. Masters,,_Brocklesby, and..Wilson. 15 Feb., 1721 .. The other members of the Council not attending,_new Summons to issue against 17 inst. Present-Mr. Mayor, both Sheriffs ; Alden. Francklyn, Browne ; Mr. Com. Speaker, Mr. Masters, Mr. Brocklesby, Mr. Foucault. 17 Feb., 1721. Mr. Wilson, late Cl,amberlain, being sent for (by Serjt. Eccles) to attend the Common Council this day as well as 15 inst., refused to obey the .summons. Mr. Mayor being unwilling to proceed until other members be present who have neglected to appear, dissolved the present assembly until new summons. (Same names as 15 Feb.).
