THE OLD EXCIIA~GE AND CORN MARKET TO BE CANTED.

That Mr. J as. Morrison perfect a minute of the ground near the Corn Market which he has taken. That the old Corn Market be set by public cant. Present-~1r. Mayor, Sher. Hawkins; AlJcn. Crone, Whiteing, Francklyn, Delahoid, Phillips, Perdrian, Browne, LamLley; Mr. Masters, 'Vilson, Smith. 8 Ma'rch, 1717. That any person that has a mind to take the Old Exchange and Old Corn Market at a rent give their proposals in writing to the Mayor, either for the whole or in four lots, for which fee farm leases will be given to tho highest bidders. Present-Abra. French, Mayor; Mr. Sher. Hawkins; Alden. Crone, Chartres, Francklin, De.lahoid, Nob. Rogers, l)hillips, Drowne, French ; Mr. Walker, Smith, Browne, Com. Speaker, :Masters, Wilson. 13 },{arch, 1717. Ordered, that it be printed in the Cork Intelligence and posted in the Exchange that the Old Exchange and the Old Corn Market, containing ... feet in length, will be put up to public cant in the Exchange of Corke on Monday 31 inst., a fee farm lease to the highest bidder, and whoever takes it is to pay 100li. in hand, in consideration of which the tenant shall have an abatement of the rent of 8Zi. a year, and if none bids more than 100li. and one pound a year for the whole, that Mr. Wm. Masters is to take it at the price he has promised. That the Chamberlain pay Mr. Jn. Hare the sums of llli. 6s. 2fd. and 8li. 3s. 4}d., in all 19li. 9s. 7 d., due to him on his two notes for candles for the use of the Corporation, to the Court, the Guard, the Exchange, and the Castle, to Sep. 1717. Present-Mr. Mayor, the two Sheriffs; Alden. Crone, Chartres, Knapp, Francklyn, Delahoid, Phillips, Whiteing, Perdrian, Lambley, Hoare, Browne; Mr. Smith, Masters, and Wilson. 6 April, 1718. That the Chamberlain pay Mr. Robt. Hoare 50li. in part of his bill of costs for several suits canied on by this Corporation.
