That Henry .Artwright, Esq., Collector of the Port of this City, be ad- mitted free. That the bill of costs relating to~the Habeas Corpus of Prosser be referred to Alden. Browne and French. Present--lfr. Mayor, Sher. Browne; Alden. Chartres, 'Whiting, Delahoide, Phillips, Perdrian, Francklyn, Hoare, Browne; Mr. Masters, Wilson, French, llorrison, M. Smith. 5 March, 1716. That the lands of Drumcummer be advertized to be let, containing 230 acres, for a term of 90 years, proposals to be made to the .Mayor. That Mr. \V ebber do send for a copy of the Down Survey of said lands. That 9li. 11s. 11d. be paid Mr. ..Meaghe, his bill in the ca.se of Prosser's Habeas Corpus. That Aaron, son of Giles Tucker, be admitted into S. Stephen's Hospital, :recommended by Ald. Knapp. That 7 pounds be allowed Mr. Webber for attending the Commission of Array for this City. Present--lir.liayor, Mr. Sher. Browne; Alden. Crone, Chartres, Whiting, Knapp, Perdrian, Francklyn, Allyn, Browne, French; Mr. Walker, Masters, Morrison, French, Smith, Morley, Com. Speaker. 25 March, 1717. That Mr. Miles Martin continue to receive the gateage at same sallary he did for Ald. Browne and the persons who farmed the same, they having surrendered their lease of the gateage. Present--W•. Lambley, E~q., Mayor; Mr. Sher. Sheares; Alden. Crone, Francklyn, Phillips, Perdrian, Allin, Browne ; Mr. Masters, Morrison, Smith, Morley, Com. Speaker, and Wilson. 2 .April, 1717. Put to the question, :whether Mr. Callaghane shall have the lands of Drumcummer at 66 pounds per annum, paying all arrears, before perfecting any lease. Agreed, that he shall have same, paying the rent quarterly. That Ald. Knapp and Browne go and see the lands of Drumcummer sur- veyed, and that Mr. Weight survey the same before May day.
