ALL APPRENTICES' INDENTURES TO BE REGISTERED.
That Daniel, son of Ald. Perdrian, be sworn free. Ordered, that all apprentices' indentures be registered with the Town Clerk in a book kept for that purpose, and no apprentice admitted free ii not registered. Put to the vote, whether Mr. Saml. Wilson or Mr. John Terry should be Chamberlain in the room of Ald. Goddard, ~. Carried for Mr. Wilson. That 20 pounds per annum, and no more, be paid the Chamberlain of this City. That Francis Wise, butcher, having served J as. Waugh, a freeman., be admitted free on his petition. Like on the petition of Thomas, eldest son of Francis Poultney, a free- man. Like order on petition of Joseph, eldest son of Andrew Turges, a freeman. Like order on the petition of Cornelius. son of Thomas Hayes. Like order on the petition of Henry Lane, an ancient inhabitant. Like order on the petition of John,. eldest son of John Williams, a freeman. That 200li. be allowed the Mayor for the succeeding year. That Mr. Mayor, Ald. Chartres, or any other member of Council, view the lands of Drumcummer in demise to Mr. Com. Callaghane, and report the yearly value of same, and in the meantime Mr. J os. Weight do survey and make a map of same with the number of acres. That Daniel and Wm. Saterford be admitted free showing their indentures, and satisfying the Mayor that Daniel served John Champion and Wm. served Francis Ingram, both freemen. Present-Mr. Mayor, Sher.
