TilE MAYOR's GALLERY IN S. PETER'S CIIURCII TO DE REPAIRED.

That the Chamberlain pay Ald. Browne the charges of the news, being 10li. 19s. 8d., for a year and a quarter. That the former orders in Council relating to }.fr. Honahan's and other keys adjoining built without leave be put in execution. Present-Mr. Mayor, Mr. Sher. Power; AlJ.en. Chartres, Crone, Perdrian, Francklyn, Knapp, Allin, Browne ; Mr. Browne, Wilson, LamLly, anu Masters. 18 May, 1716. That the piece of wall in the channell joining to the Bridewell Arches bo continued as much further as the overseers shall think fit, not extending further than Cockpit lane, and to remove the wall as far westward as they shall think fit. That Mr. Richardson be paid one guinea for his care of the Corporation at the suit of Mr. Perry in Chancery. That Mr. Mayor dispose of the goods taken for petty duties. Whereas Ald. Browne, when he was 1\fayor, moved the Council for a licence to set part of the lands of Ballynemought to Papists, notwithstanding the covenant in his lease, and same being granted for the reasons then offered, but not entred, said Br~wne being then Mayor, who must sign such licence, order~d, that the present Mayor, &c., grant a licence to said Browne under the Common Seal. Ordered, that the Mayor's Gallary at St. Peter's Church be repaired, and the King's arms set up, and that Mr. Mayor, the two Sheriffs, and Ald. Crone be overseers. That the Chamberlain pay 6 guineas to Ald. Crone for the Icing's arms to be set up in St. Peter's Church. That the Chamberlain pay to Mr. Augustus Carre 15Zi. 12s. lld., ex- pended by him for prosecuting Capt. Rickards for making. up and selling corrupt and unmerchantable tallow.
