ENTERTAINMENT ON THE KING'S ACCESSION.

7 March, 1714. That Thomas, son of James Sing, recommended by Ald. Knapp, be admitted into S. Stephen's Hospital. I-ike for James, son of John Barry, recommended by Ald. Cottrell. Like for Cornelius, son of Timothy Croneene, recommended by letter from Ald. Delahoyde. That 3li. 4s., a bill of costs in the cause of Dwyer against the Mayor, &c., about some corn lost in the riot that happened about Mr. Sevenhoven's house be paid. That Mr. Mayor be paid 15li. 12s. 5d., so much expended by him for an entertainment on the day of thanksgiving for the King's accession to the throne. That the Mayor send a letter to the Ld. That what encroachments have been made on the Old Market place adjoyning the premises belonging to John Rogerson, ·Esq., His Majie's Sot- General, in case same be not pulled down but set to lease, Mr. Rogerson shall have the preference.
