Present-Mr. Mayor, both Sheriffs ; Alden. Crone, Chartres, Francklyn, Delahoyde; Common Speaker, Mr. Walker, Perrie, Browne, and Wilson. 8 July, 1712. The twelve electors for the Mayoralty not agreeing yesterday (the day of election) in the Castle, the Council, pursuant to the Bye-law, met this day, and by the major votes agreed on Mr. John Allen, Mr. Danl. Perdrian, and Mr. James Morrison to be the three persons to be proposed to the Commons. Present-Mr. Mayor, both Sheriffs; Alden. R. Rogers, Crone, Chartres, Goddard, Whiting, Knapp, Cottrell, Francklyn, Delahoyde, N. Rogers, Hoare ; Mr. Walker, Perrie, Browne, Wilson. 17 July, 1712. Ald. Edwd. Hoare and Mr. Sami. Wilson to examine the account of the Chamberlain. That the incroachments made by John F(mn at the South end of the North Bridge be taken down. That 100li. be taken up at interest from Mr. Sam 1• Wilson and 300li. from Ald. Francis Cottrell, at 8 pe1· cent. 4 Aug., 1712. John, son of William Spread, dec., to be made free. The ballance due from Mr. Connor Callaghan out of lands of Drum- cummer to be called in. Mr. Edwd. Webber's account, examined by Alden. Francklyn, Delahoyde, and Mr. Tho. Browne, is allowed the ballance, being 34li. 17s. lO!d., to be paid when the Corporation is in stock, and his bond for lOOli. to be cancelled. - The Mayor elect to have 200li. sallary next year. On authority, under the Common Seal, to be sent for a year's annuity to Skiddy's Alms-house, from the Vintner's Society, London, to be paid to Mr. Tho. Browne for said use. That 15li. be paid Elizabeth, widdow of Ald. Will Andrews, dec., one year's relief. Present-Mr. Mayor, Sher. Terry; Alden.
