AN ENTERTAINMENT FOR H. G. THE DUKE OF ORMOND.

Present-Mr. Mayor, Sher. l:lasters; Alden. Crone, Chartres, Renew, Love, French, Roberts, Goddard, :Morris, Common Speaker; 1\Ir. Perrie, ~:lr. Champion, Mr. Browne. 17 June, 1703. Whereas Mr. Patrick Ronaine hath made a discovery to this Assembly of a piece of waste ground belonging to this Corporation near W atersmills, and offered to take a lease thereof, It is agreed that said Ronaine shall have a lease for 41 years at a rent of 5s. per annum, the lessee, at his own cost, to make good the Corporation title to the premises. A lease granted to Mr. John Hodder of the moyety of the old Reast Market, at the South end of the South Bridge (formerly Tho. Crooke's) for 999 years, at a yearly rent of 3 pounds ster., and that Hodder be relea.~ed from the agreement he made with this board for his moyety of said ground purchased from the trustees. Ordered, that the Eastern part of the ground held by Mr. Thomas Crook, situated at the South end of the South Bridge, be set by cant first day of next sessions. That Mr. Swithin White be sworn free as eldest son of his father, Mr. Wm. White. Present-Mr. Mayor, both Sheriffs; Alden. Bayly, Crofts, Chartres, French, Roberts, Goddard ; Mr. Ronaine, Mr. Perrie, l!r. Champion, 1\Ir. Browne. 25 June, 1703. Ordererl, that Ald. James French, Ald. Wm. Roberts, and Mr. Tho. Browne provide for the entertainment of his Grace the Duke of Ormond, and the Chamberlain supply them with money as they shall have occasion, Present-Mr. Mayor, both Sheriffs; .Alden.
