Whereas an order of Council was entered the 5 Oct., 1691, giving power to Ald. Rogers, under the City seal, to receive from the Vintners of London what money should be due on account of the Alms-house, and nothing was done, Ordered, that power be given him under the City seal to recover what shall be found due from said Vintners. Ordered, that the holes in the roof of the 'Valke be amended at the Corporation charge, and that ~Ir. Perrie see it done. That Ald. Dunscombe, Ald. Crofts, and Ald. Ballard audit the accounts of Ald. Crone, and .report to next Council. That the same Auditors, with Ald. Rogers, do audit the accounts of lfr. Perrie, Chamberlain; that he be allowed 60 pounds; that he deliver up all counterpart of leases, rent-rolls, papers, parchments, &c., relating to this Corporation, and report. That lfr. Perrie have for the ensueing year as his salary as Chamberlain 12 pence in the pound of the Corporation revenue allowed him. That Ald. Dunscombe, Ald. Rogers, Ald. Crofts, Ald. Ballard, Mr. Mayor, Sir Mathew Deane ; Sher. Whiting, or any three of them, audit the above accounts on lfonday next come seven nights for Ald. Crone. The next day for lfr. Perrie. That Ald. Ballard have the City seal allowed him for his disbursements on account of this Corporation, in the time of his lfayoralty, for his security for the money and interest thereof. That for the future any part of the Corporation Estate that shall be leased or set shall be publickly set to cant in the Tholsel for the fairest bidder. That Ald. Rogers, Ald. Ballard, and lfr. Perrie inspect and discourse young Dymond about his house in the North-west quarter, of which he has a lease from this Corporation, and report thereon. That lfr. Mayor, Sir Matthew Deane, Ald. Dunscombe, Ald. Crofts, Ald. Ballard, or such of them as the Mayor shall summon to attend in the Tholsel of this City by nine of the clock on lfonday morning, 16 inst., to consult about the City revenue and improvement thereof, and to consider of the many incroachments on the town walls, and other Corpo- ration rights, and to sit from day to day as oc0asion shall require.
