6 dozen mahogany chairs for the Mansion House; It., that 50 guineas be subscribed by the Mayor in the name of this Corporation, to the fund for making good the deficiency which may arise on oatmeal contracted for by the Mayor and the Committee for the benefit of the inhabitant.s of this City; It., £8 15s. 6~d. to Francis Johnson, Esq., expenses of the Guard to protect the peace at Corke fair last; It., £50 to Sam I. Hobbs, carpenter, on account; It., £37 lOs. to James and Henry Knight, printers, half a year's printing work done by contract; It., £1 11s. 5d. due to said J. and H. Knight at the beginning of the contract; It., £7 7s. 10!d., costs of preparing and posting orders of Council in the Coffee House for six years, pursuant to the resolution of the C. D. H. It., that the Mayor, Sheriffs, and C. S. do contract for a thorough repair of the Potatoe Market, the sum not to exceed £55, to be paid when the work is done ; It., £34 2s. 6d. to W. Jones, Town Clerk, for half a year's business done ; It., that the Mayor, Sheriffs, and C. S. do contract for .a thorough repair of the South Milk Market, the sum not to exceed 30 guineas, to be paid when the work is done ; It., that the Mayor, Sheriffs, and C. S. do contract for repairing the Bandle Cloth Market, the sum not to exceed 10 guineas, to be paid when the work is done; It., £50 .to the Committee for bettering the condition of the poor, towards the fund for relieving the industrious by providing soup and straw. That William Norris Hodder, Esq., second son of George Hodder, Esq., of Fountainstown, at the request of the Mayor; Edward llart Hopper, mercht., at the request of Sher. Pope; Richard Wright, Esq., Collector of Baltimore, at the request of Sheriff Digby; Richard Tooker, Esq.; William Dickson, Esq. ; William Smith, gent. ; John Hyde, of Cregg, Esq. ; Joshua Beasly, cooper; and Robert Shaw, of Dublin, Esq., be admitted freemen at large. Present-The Mayor and Sheriffs; Alden. Thompson; Mr. Westropp, Harding, and Lane, C. S. 26 May, 1800.
