Daniel MacCarthy Glas Collection- Descriptive List

Descriptive list of the Daniel MacCarthy (Glas) Collection

Charles says he is much obliged for "Dr Mapother's little book on sea side places in Clare" ['Lisdoonvarna spas and sea-side places of Clare' by Edward Dillon Mapother]. He wonders what the Irish newspapers "say about the decision of the Court of [Common] Pleas in [the] [?Pitchally] case." He hopes Daniel will "try some bracing climate, I think that the air of Devonshire is not favourable for picking up strength in when a man gets below par."
