Lyons writes of the "revolution" which has taken place at Togher Castle in the four years since he last wrote to Daniel. He says that he is a tenant there since the death of his mother in 1892. He discusses the building works he has been carrying out to the structures and land surrounding the castle, and repairs he has made to the stairs in the castle.
