Daniel MacCarthy Glas Collection- Descriptive List

Descriptive list of the Daniel MacCarthy (Glas) Collection

Scope and Content: Keightley says that his friend Dr John O'Donovan informed him that Daniel is sending an account of the battle of Glendalough of 1580 to the Kilkenny Archaeological Society. As Daniel's account has not been published yet, he asks Daniel a number of questions relating to Edmund Spenser "about his life and acts in Ireland". He promises to cite Daniel as the source of any information he is able to provide.
