Graves discusses documents sourced by Daniel relating to Sir Owen Hopton, and suggests that Daniel's "Black Water" paper be published in the January edition of the society's journal. He also discusses the "Ostman prelates" of Dublin, Waterford, and Limerick.

Scope and Content: Graves writes that he is anxiously waiting for Daniel to send back the proofs of the "Florence" papers, and says the "Defeat of Harington" is in type. He also includes a drawing of a MacCarthy and Ormonde coat-of-arms which he found in a letter in the "Ormonde Record Room".
