Graves explains that "the mistake about Sir Henry Harington's defeat" occurred because he wrote to Daniel before reading a manuscript posted to him by Dr. [John] O'Donovan. He says that [George Victor] Du Noyer's drawings will be engraved so Daniel's "contribution will be required."
