Scope and Content: Graves thanks Daniel for his letter and "collection" regarding the marriage of O'Neill and Mistress Bagnall, which he says will be printed in their next issue of the journal of the Kilkenny and South-East of Ireland Archaeological Society. He encloses a note [not included] relating to the "plots" of Duncannon Fort [County Wexford].

Scope and Content: Graves writes that he received the "curious 'counterfeit'" [portrait] of Sir Turlough Lynagh O'Neill and asks Daniel for instructions on how to present it in the society's journal. He says that he has just gotten John Maclean's book ['The life and times of Sir Peter Carew'] and is particularly interested in his "doings" in Idrone [County Carlow].
