Burke asks Daniel for the maternal branches of the MacCarthys Reagh so he can add it to his new edition of 'Landed Gentry' ['A Genealogical and Heraldic History of the Landed Gentry of Great Britain and Ireland']. He also describes the death of Dr John O'Donovan as a "national and irreparable loss."
