Page 54. Letter from Elliner McCarthy, Dunmanway [County Cork] to Daniel

MacCarthy, 10 March 1857 [?1856]. Level: Item

Extent: Part of:

PR70/C/3

Scope and Content: Elliner says she received Daniel's "Post office order as usual which was a great relief to me". She tells Daniel that her husband is seriously ill. This letter is dated 1857, but a subsequent letter in which she notifies Daniel of her husband's death is dated 1856, so perhaps the 1857 date is a mistake.
