Scope and Content: Copy extract of letter dated 6 August 1873: Lyons writes that Dromdeega [near Togher in West Cork] is where Daniel’s ancestors lived before emigrating; copy extract of letter dated 29 August 1873: Lyons writes that according to Eugene “Old Root” MacCarthy, Daniel’s an cestors once owned all of Dromdeega townland, and then moved to the nearby townland of Inchi-an-Choirki [Inchincurka].
