Level: file Extent: 99 items (59 letters, 40 documents) Part of: PR70/B Scope and Content: Edmund Pearce appears to have been the architect of 'Carbery', Henry Walden and James White were the builders, Mr Talbot built or supplied the bookcases, and George White built or supplied the sinks. File includes numerous cheques and receipts for payments relating to the construction. The house no longer exists; Belle Vue Close housing estate now stands in the location. 'Carbery Avenue' is located nearby.

Two letters written on the same single physical letter. Elizabeth and Harriet write from Florence [Italy], and appear to be requesting that Brunswick brings certain items with him [from England] when he visits them next month. Reference is made to him calling to "Strachan", who is likely Harriet and Brunswick's brother, Strachan Irving Popham.
