Level: Item Extent: 4pp Part of: PR70/B Scope and Content: MacCartie writes that Dr [William] Reeves has informed him that Daniel hopes to send a copy of 'The Life and Letters of Florence MacCarthy Reagh' to him, and asks De Vere to send Daniel his address. MacCartie says that he is the youngest son of Justin MacCartie of Carrignavar who died in 1864, that his brother Robert is ill at present, and his other brother Justin is a barrister in Cork and has just purchased "our family place 'Carrignavar'".
