Descriptive list of the Daniel MacCarthy (Glas) Collection
including his translations of the work of Spanish playwright Pedro Calderón de la Barca [4 January 1871], and his attempts to find Percy Bysshe Shelley's "lost" poem 'A Poetical Essay on the Existing State of Things', the dedication of which, makes reference to Daniel's father-in-law, Sir Home Popham [7 January 1870 and 13 January 1871. See also Denis' "Notice 'To Booksellers'" (PR70/H/2/3)].
