Scope and Content: Small printed text of a prayer for sailors during WWI, issued by the chaplain of the fleet. An instruction above the text of the prayer asks the sailor to 'slip this inside your cap'. The prayer asks for the forgiveness of sins. On the reverse of the prayer is a note 'grandfather Edward Fitzgerald during war 1914'. Fitzgerald was in the service of the HMS New Zealand throughout the war.
