Concerns publisher for her book. Discusses the partition of Ireland, ‘we must not look to England to help us…but work it out on my husband’s policy of conciliation’. Mentions the teaching of Gaelic, and the views of the French in the matter, ‘Our work is to win the more sensible of the Northern by our good sense’. Notes that Professor Chauviere of Dublin University is very much interested in Ireland. Postscript concerning her efforts to get articles published in Irish papers. 5pp 22 17 November 1938 Letter, from Sophie O'Brien, Eplessier par Paix, Somme, France, to ‘Dear Friend’. Concerns two messages she has received , firstly that a new priest at Mallow advised the people to read William O'Brien’s works and secondly concerning a letter.
