Copy letter from Fitzgerald to the Personnel Office, Verlome Cork Dockyards requesting to be notified if men whom he has referred to the Dockyard apply for jobs, adding "in no way do I wish to prejudice your own decisions." 1p 445 [n.d.] Correspondence file relating to requests for favours and intercessions mostly regarding jobs. Includes letter from an ex-internee requesting Fitzgerald help secure him a job "Knowing that your name stands good in this city." Includes letter from a resident of the Old Blackrock Road railing against "The MISUSE and DRINKING of Public money" by corporation workers on the Old Blackrock Road who are regularly found "DRUNK AND ASLEEP." 8 items

1927 446 21 May 1927 Letter from John Jermyn, Solicitor enclosing for Fitzgerald a cheque for £150 his deposit for Candidature to the General Election 1921. 1p 447 May - June 1927 Newspaper clippings referring to Fianna Fail electioneering. 3pp 448 13 September 1927 Letter to Fitzgerald from Lill, 154 West End, Mallow discussing electioneering. Remarks it's no wonder he's exhausted and that it worried her to think of him out all night in the open car, but they will soon be victorious and they both can have a good rest. She was posting bills all day and missed a call by Martin corry berate her for circulatry leaflets stating "J. Barry No. 1." she doesn't see that she's done wrong as "Martin canvassed No. 1 in his own and and your area" and states Corry canvassed for himself alone while Fitzgerald spoke for all the candidates. Corry's visit upset mother greatly and she declares "were it not for the cause and you Seamus I would pack up this very day." Wishes him good luck.
