Copy letter from Fitzgerald as President Cork Orchestral society inviting Taoiseach John A. Costello to a reception in his home on the occasion of his visit to the Cork Ballot.

Copy of Typescript letter sent to Eamonn De Valera from a person at St. Finbarr's Seminary, Farranfore discussing Fitzgerald "as an individual whose rights have been grossly violated by that local band of witch-finders and orthodoxy-mongers which was once the Cork Fianna Fail organisation". He recalls Fitzgerald's record A Volunteer and the lack of appreciation given him by Fianna Fail. As Chairman of the cork Ballet Corps he "did his obvious social duty" and welcomed the Fine Gael Taoiseach John A. Costello, "And for that he is Excommunicated". 2pp
