Letter to Fitzgerald from Alfred O'Rahilly, U.C.C. cancelling his agreement to speak at a Fianna Fail function "not being a member of Fianna Fail in fact disagreeing strongly with the apathy of that party in some matters". Remarks a recent speech of his at a similar function evoked great resentment "Hence him through, I prefer my liberty." 1p

Includes: submission by O'Leary that he was denied a post by Cork Corporation as a result of his activities against the Free State in the Civil War. 15 December 1933 - letter from the Department of Local Government and Public Health stating they were to find any evidence of political victimisation.
