12 July 1927 Copy of letter from Seamus Fitzgerald to the Cork Examiner attacking an article containing "a most insidious attack on those who do not see eye to eye with you politically and their misreporting of his remarks concerning a vote of condolence to the family of Kevin O'Higgins. He encloses the text of his remarks which he request to be published. 3pp 22 May 1928 - 6 June 1928 File relating to attempts to establish the Fianna Fail organisation in East Cork. Includes Drafts of letters by Fitzgerald (1), (2) and letters to headquarters in Dublin (5 June 1928) revealing tensions between Fitzgerald and Martin Corry the T.D. 5 items 21 June 1928 Letter to Fitzgerald from R. O'Breandain discussing the "miserable" return on the quota for shares in the Irish National Press in East Cork. The returns in North Cork increased from 10 to 50% due to the efforts of Don Corkery T.D., and he enquiries if Fitzgerald could devote some time to the work. 1p 5 March 1929 Typescript copy of a letter from Seamus Fitzgerald to Martin Corry T.D., detailing his plan to establish a Fianna Fail club in Cobh, and demanding the return of the letter circulated by Sean Hegarty at the last Senate selection "If there is any bit of loyalty in you I should not have occasion to write to you for it at all". Adds a copy of the letter will be sent to Sean Lemass. 1p
