Cover letter returning the documents suggests they belong in a museum. 3 items 60 17 February 1969 - 22 December 1969 Correspondence file relating to Fitzgerald's abortive attempt to write a history of Cobh Volunteers. Includes Correspondence with Anglea Burke, Cobh regarding the military statement of her late husband Michael (see 37+53) (9 May 1969) and 22 December 1969 reminisces of Sean Daly, Youghal, Co. Cork of the attack on the Four Courts and the organisation of IRA brigades in the Cork area. 11 items 61 15 April 1969 - 17 May 1969 File relating to material about Charlie Hurley who was killed at Upton, Co. Cork by British Forces, 19 March 1921. Sent by Fitzgerald to Liam Deasy, Kimmage Road, Dublin. Includes A copy cover letter 20 September, 1963 sent by Fitzgerald to Florence Begley enclosing a letter from Charlie Hurley to Fitzgerald dated 1916. Hurley's letter expresses his happiness at Seamus's release and the pride he feels in his comrades. He stresses they must never forget those who died. 9 items 62 28 July 1969 8 November 1969
