37 [1950's] Letter from Patrick O'Connor, 367 Concord St., Lowell, Massachusetts requesting Fitzgerald's help with his pension application. He worked in Sean O'Moore's office in Cork City Hall in 1920, and secured a job in the National Land Bank with Fitzgerald's help. He emigrated after the sale of the bank and gives an account of his 27 years in Lowell. He intends to use his pension money to revisit Ireland and requests advise on securing maximum benefit. Gives details of his service 1917-1921. 9pp

38a 1941 - 1942 File of correspondence and submissions attesting to Fitzgerald's service record as Batallion Quartermaster, 4th Battalion 1st Cork Brigade from 30th June, 1922 to September 1922. Details bomb making activities in 1921 and 1922. Mention is also made of the service records of Cromac Cullinane, Michael Leahy and David O'Brien in the I.R.A.
