Emotive letter from an applicant for a position with the I.T.A. to Fitzgerald. He undertakes to "abstain from intoxicating liquor either on or off duty" adding "I should regard myself as less than half a man if I were to let you down now". 2pp

Includes Copy letter from Fitzgerald to Professor John Busteed inquiring if 'Owen' would be applying for the position of Manager of the new Tourist Board. 6 items Copy of letter from Fitzgerald to Cormac McCarthy, Sunday's Well, Cork, instructing him to call a director's meeting regarding the cancellation of a college grant to Garryvoe and irregularities about a payment to the Irish Tourist Board. 1p
