(Also notes referring to U.C.C.) 1p Copy letter from Fitzgerald to Commandant Michael Leahy (see also , Cobh, enclosing a letter sent to Tom Barry from Mrs. Mairin Callahan of Dublin comparing the fine monument at Kilmichael "I always feel it must have a shattering effect on the hundreds of British tourists who slow down when passing to investigate" and the minute cross in an inaccessible yard marking the site of the Clonmult Ambush. Fitzgerald's letter agrees with Barry's suggestion the monument should be removed to the roadside. 2 items
