17 March 1934 Copy of the Will of Denis Hurley, Carson City, Nevada. He appoints Howard Griffin as his executor. Bequeaths $100 each to 7 of his friends including 4 priests. The balance of his estate he bequeaths to his brother’s and sister’s children in Ireland. 1p 7 March 1938 Typescript copy of newspaper article concerning funeral services for the late Denis Hurley. Names the ten priests who officiated at the ceremony including Monsignor H.J.M. Wientjes who paid a special tribute to Denis Hurley. Pallbearers were representatives of the Carson City Board of Trustees, the U.S. District Court for Nevada, the Virginia and Truckee Railroad and the Catholic Church. 1p 23 April 1938 Letter from Eileen Fox, 77 Mizzy Road, Rochdale, England to Mrs Daniel Deasy, Ahafore, Timoleague, County Cork. Concerns the Will of the late Denis Hurley who died on 3 March 1938. She thinks the estate may be appraised at $10,000. 2pp 28 April 1938 Letter from John M.Chartz, Attorney for the Executor of the Estate of Denis Hurley deceased, Carson City, Nevada, to Mrs. Mary Hurley Deasy, Ahafore, Timoleague, County Cork. Informs her of the death of her uncle. 1p
