He would have liked to write a long letter but has not time, ‘Try and think of me as a dear friend who has died for Ireland…Pray for me but do not mourn my loss. He sends his draft of ‘what we did get done’. Notes one point in Langford’s statement with conflicting information concerning the issue of cards of invitation for the first meeting of the Irish Volunteers in City Hall.
